The Buckeyes were the nation's No.2 team in the AP Top 25 heading into their showdown with the Oklahoma Sooners. That was bound to change the moment OU left the Horseshoe victorious.

Earlier today the Buckeyes fell from 2nd to 9th in the Coaches Poll. The AP Poll followed by dropping Ohio State from the same spot to 8th:
