Ohio State put Nebraska to bed by the end of the first quarter.
After that, it became a game of getting out of Lincoln healthy. Unfortunately for the Buckeyes, defensive end Jalyn Holmes suffered an injury and left the game under care of university medical staff.
Losing Holmes would be a blow, despite Ohio State's depth. Holmes not only a future NFL defensive end but also filled in admirably at defensive tackle when Dre'Mont Jones missed two weeks due to injury.
