Ohio State went into Lincoln and left with a lot of points, a lot of yards and their sixth win of the season. Along the way, they got some help from a handful of true freshman Buckeyes.
On a night where J.T. Barrett went a scorching 27-33 for 325 yards and seven total touchdowns, Dobbins didn't have to do all that much to ensure a Buckeye win.
His chip-in efforts though are pretty good one might say.
Dobbins carried the ball 12 times for 106 yards and one touchdown. It's the third time this season the true freshman has gone over the century mark.
Dobbins' night was highlighted by the touchdown run, from 52 yards out up the left side to give the Buckeyes the early advantage.
Dobbins also was third on the team in receiving, grabbing four catches for another 42 yards with the long catch being for 17.
Aside from Dobbins, a few other freshman made contributions. Ohio State got tackles from Chase Young, Jeffrey Okudah, Isaiah Pryor, Pete Werner, Marcus Williamson and Amir Riep. Riep also intercepted a pass from Nebraska quarterback Patrick O'Brien as time expired.
