Ohio State fifth-year senior quarterback J.T. Barrett earned Davey O'Brien national quarterback of the week Tuesday after shredding Nebraska for 373 yards and seven touchdowns Saturday.
Barrett completed 33 passes for 325 yards and five touchdowns while also adding 48 yards and two touchdowns on the ground, tying his school record for total touchdowns responsible for.
Barrett also tied former Purdue quarterback Drew Brees' Big Ten touchdown passes record with 90.
The Davey O'Brien Award is given annually to the nation's best quarterback.
