A former Ohio State assistant coach is now the head coach at one of the most notorious powerhouses in high school football.

Former OSU offensive line coach Greg Studrawa was named the newest head coach of IMG Academy on Monday, his first coaching stateside job since being let go by the Buckeyes after the 2021 season. Studrawa most recently was the offensive coordinator for the Cologne Centurions in the Europe League of Football.

"The IMG Academy National Football Team head coaching position is one of the premier coaching jobs in America, and Greg is the perfect candidate to lead our student-athletes on and off the field," Kyle Brey, Director of Football at IMG Academy said in a press release. "He brings a wealth of experience at the highest levels of college football, including national championship success that will benefit our student-athletes. We believe his championship mindset, deep recruiting connections, and commitment to providing an unrivaled experience for our student-athletes will elevate our program and continue our tradition of excellence on the national stage."

Studrawa, who coached OSU’s linemen from 2016 to 2021, will oversee the development of high school prospects from across the country.

Ohio State often recruits IMG Academy players, with the most successful recent example being wide receiver Carnell Tate.
