Former Ohio State cornerback Marshon Lattimore was named Friday as the NFL Rookie of the Week for his performance in the New Orleans Saints' 52-38 win over the Detroit Lions last Sunday.

Lattimore's performance last weekend was highlighted by an interception returned 27 yards for a touchdown – the first touchdown of his NFL career – on a day that he had five total tackles and two total passes defensed.
According to Pro Football Focus' Nathan Jahnke, Lattimore had a dominant performance over the course of the game in coverage.
