Ohio State sold beer throughout the Horseshoe for the second year in a row in 2017.
Jennifer Smola of The Columbus Dispatch reports the university netted $1.35 million in beer sale profits during a seven-game home slate anchored by games against Oklahoma and Penn State—two contests that undoubtedly drove droves of Buckeye fans to drink, albeit in different moods.
This was a 16% increase on 2016, though in-stadium arrests climbed from 22 to 52 in the last year. Ejections (25 to 24) and out-of-stadium open containers (4 to 2) both went down in that same time span.
