Jerome Baker minced no words entering the 2018 NFL Combine. He hoped to post a sub-4.40 time in the 40-yard dash, which would be a record for the linebacker.
Unfortunately, Baker fell short of that goal. However, he still showcased the blend of size and speed that makes him attractive to NFL scouts.
Baker posted an unofficial 4.53 in his first run and a 4.6 in his second. The latter can be seen in the video above.
