Two former Ohio State players are among the selections for the Associated Press' 2017 NFL All-Pro team.
Former Ohio State offensive lineman Andrew Norwell, who now plays for the Carolina Panthers, was selected as the NFL's top left guard. Former Buckeye defensive end Cameron Heyward, who now plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers, was selected as one of the league's top two interior defensive linemen.
Both players are first-time AP All-Pros this season.
Norwell is in his fourth season with the Panthers, with whom he has been a starting left guard since his rookie year, after going undrafted out of Ohio State in 2014. Heyward is in his seventh season with the Pittsburgh Steelers, who selected him in the first round of the 2011 NFL draft.
Norwell, one of 12 left guards to receive at least one vote from the AP's national panel of media members, received 11 out of 50 votes. Heyward received 21 of 50 votes at his position, at which two players are selected as All-Pros.
