Buckeye and Tennessee Titan great Eddie George welcomed the Titan's new head coach to Nashville in a big way Saturday night, presenting Mike Vrabel with a custom team guitar.
“It's only tradition as new head coach of the Titans that you have to lead us with a song,” George joked to his former Ohio State teammate, before 8,000 season ticket holders gathered for an event.
Vrabel was quick to laugh and tell a story of when he first met George in Columbus.
“He made an impression on me when I came in as a freshman. I'm like, ‘That guy is 19-years-old? I don't look like that guy looks. I don't know what's going on here.’ But I watched him work and thought that I wanted to be like that guy. I wanted to work as hard as he works.”
