INDIANAPOLIS – A bout with the flu didn't stop Tyquan Lewis from putting up impressive numbers at the NFL Scouting Combine on Sunday.

While Lewis was only able to participate in a limited workout on Sunday, skipping the 40-yard dash and positional drills, the Ohio State defensive end put up great numbers in the broad and vertical jumps, leaping 10 feet, 2 inches in the broad jump – fifth-best among all defensive linemen – and 35.5 inches in the vertical jump, tied for fifth-best among all defensive linemen.

Ohio State's official Twitter account posted a video of his broad jump:

Beyond the fact that he was sick, those numbers are made even more impressive by the fact that Lewis weighed in at 6-foot-3 and 269 pounds. He weighs more than all four defensive linemen who leaped further than him in the broad jump. Only North Carolina's Bradley Chubb, who also weighed in at 269 pounds, leaped higher in the vertical jump at the same weight or more.
