Michael Jordan has been Ohio State's starting left guard for two seasons after earning a the spot as a true freshman, but he'll now be the team's starting center, acting head coach Ryan Day announced on Wednesday.
Jordan had been taking snaps at center throughout spring practices and fall camp, along with redshirt senior Brady Taylor and redshirt freshman Josh Myers.
With Jordan's position switch, senior Malcolm Pridgeon will now start at left guard for the Buckeyes while Demetrius Knox will remain the team's starting right tackle, a position he took over last season after an injury to Branden Bowen.
Isaiah Prince will be the team's starting right tackle, and Thayer Munford and Joshua Alabi are still splitting reps at left tackle, as Munford is battling an injury.
