Two former Ohio State stars and two longtime Ohio high school football coaches will be honored with the "Ohio's Finest" award at this year's Ohio State Coaches Clinic.
All-American linebacker Chris Spielman and explosive receiver/returner Ted Ginn Jr. will both attend the clinic to receive their awards in recognition of their careers at Ohio State and in the NFL, while longtime Glenville High School head coach Ted Ginn Sr. and St. Xavier High School head coach Steve Specht will be honored for their accomplishments at the high school level.
Speakers at this year's clinic, which will be held April 11-13 culminating with Ohio State's spring game, will include Ohio State head coach Ryan Day and each of the Buckeyes' five new assistant coaches – quarterbacks coach/passing game coordinator Mike Yurcich, co-defensive coordinator Greg Mattison, special teams coordinator/assistant secondary coach Matt Barnes, co-defensive coordinator/secondary coach Jeff Hafley and linebackers coach Al Washington – as well as wide receivers coach Brian Hartline and offensive line coach Greg Studrawa.
Boston College head coach Steve Addazio, Wittenberg University head coach Joe Fincham and leadership guru Tim Kight will also be among the featured speakers at this year's clinic.
