Wyatt Davis has been recognized as one of college football's best interior linemen once again.
Davis was named Monday as one of six semifinalists for this year's Outland Trophy, along with Alabama center Landon Dickerson, Notre Dame offensive tackle Liam Eichenberg, Texas A&M guard Kenyon Green, Alabama offensive tackle Alex Leatherwood and Iowa defensive tackle Daviyon Nixon.

Ohio State has four previous winners of the Outland Trophy: Jim Parker (1956), Jim Stillwagon (1970), John Hicks (1973) and Orlando Pace (1996).
A first-team All-American guard in 2019, Davis has continued to be a leader for Ohio State's offensive line this season as the Buckeyes' offense has been one of the best in the country once again, ranking fourth nationally in points scored per game (46.6) and sixth in yards gained per game (532.4).
As one of only two regular starters on the offensive line who was available to play on Saturday against Michigan State, Davis led the way as the Buckeyes ran for a season-high 322 yards and four touchdowns on 48 carries in their 52-12 win.
Davis suffered an injury scare in the fourth quarter in East Lansing, but Ohio State listed him as one of the players who's expected to participate in its media availability on Tuesday, an indicator that he should be available to play this week.
Davis joins a list of national award semifinalists for Ohio State that also includes Justin Fields (Davey O'Brien, Maxwell), Shaun Wade (Jim Thorpe), Pete Werner (Butkus) and Drue Chrisman (Campbell).
