The total for the game sits at 63.5 points, roughly five less than what the experts in Vegas had set as the over/under for the Buckeyes' previous game with the Red Wolves.
While Ryan Day currently boasts the best record against the spread on the road and in conference games among all college coaches, Ohio State failed to cover in each of its first two non-conference games at home this season. Day also had the third-highest percentage of hitting the over among active coaches (58.8%) at the season's outset, but both of the Buckeyes’ first two games have gone under the projected total.
Ohio State will kick off against Toledo next Saturday at 7 p.m. on Fox.
