Another Ohio State defender has been honored for his performance in the Buckeyes’ win over Penn State.
While J.T. Tuimoloau filled up his trophy case this week with awards like Walter Camp Defensive Player of the Week, Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week, Chuck Bednarik Award Player of the Week and Bronko Nagurski Award Player of the Week, Tommy Eichenberg received the Lott IMPACT Trophy Player of the Week award for the second week in a row.

Eichenberg receives the award after recording a season-high 15 total tackles in Ohio State’s 44-31 victory.
He becomes the first two-time recipient of the Lott IMPACT Trophy Player of the Week award this year. The Lott IMPACT Trophy chooses its weekly award winner from players who are on the watch list for the season-long award, so Tuimoloau was not eligible to win the award despite his dominant performance against Penn State.
Eichenberg was named last week as one of 17 quarterfinalists for the season-long award.
