The latest matchup between Ohio State and Michigan will be the 119th all-time meeting between the two programs, with the Wolverines holding a 60-52-6 lead in the series. Michigan's 45-23 win over the Buckeyes in 2022 marked the first time it had won back-to-back games against Ohio State since 1999 and 2000.
Michigan also won the previous matchup in Ann Arbor in a 42-27 Buckeye defeat that served as the Wolverines' first win against Ohio State in a decade. Before the 2021 matchup, Ohio State had won eight straight games against Michigan and 15 of the past previous 16.
Michigan has not won three straight matchups with Ohio State since 1995, '96 and '97, but has an opportunity to do so in the forthcoming season.
Monday's announcement marked the second official game time for Ohio State's 2023 season. Earlier on Monday, the Buckeyes' Nov. 11 contest against Michigan State was slated for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff at Ohio Stadium with the game set to be televised on NBC.
