The game’s rosters are subject to change over the course of the season. EA Sports will adjust player ratings during the season based on player performance. Players who have not yet opted into the game’s licensing agreement could still be added if they choose to do so, while walk-ons excluded from the initial roster could be added if they climb their real-life teams’ depth charts and earn playing time.

Ohio State begins the year with the second-highest overall rating (93) of any team in the game, led by the game’s highest-rated defense (96) and fifth-highest-rated offense (89).

Early access to EA Sports College Football 25 for those who have ordered the deluxe edition of the game begins at 4 p.m. Monday. The standard edition of the game will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on Friday.
