Each Ohio State player will be honoring the 50th anniversary of Archie Griffin's first Heisman Trophy in some part on Saturday.
The Buckeyes will all be wearing helmet stickers celebrating college football's only two-time Heisman Trophy winner, ones that read "50" with a portrait of Griffin's face replacing the zero. It's the same logo OSU has been using throughout this month's celebration of their most iconic player.

As seen in the video above, cornerback Dianté Griffin, Archie's grandson, was the first to fix the sticker on his helmet. Or rather, his grandfather did it for him as they toured Ohio State's locker room.
Saturday caps a month full of honors for Griffin. Statues of the running back were unveiled at the Rose Bowl and in the rotunda of the Horseshoe. A street sign labeling Tuttle Park Place as "Archie Griffin Drive" where it intersects with Woody Hayes Drive near the Shoe was also unveiled in August.
Griffin will cap off an August to remember by dotting the 'i' in Script Ohio at halftime against Akron. The Buckeyes and Zips kick off at 3:30 p.m. on CBS.
