Ohio State will start its second half of the season with two straight Big Noon games.

The Buckeyes will play Nebraska in a noon game televised by FOX this week, then play another noon game on FOX next week when they head to Happy Valley to take on Penn State on Nov. 2.

Ohio State vs. Penn State was officially announced as a Big Noon game on Monday, which means the Buckeyes will play at least four noon games on FOX this season. The Buckeyes played just one FOX game (Marshall) in the first half of the regular season, but Ohio State will play at least three in the second half as this week’s game against Nebraska, next week’s game against Penn State and the regular-season finale against Michigan are all scheduled for noon on FOX.

Next week’s clash with the Nittany Lions is currently on track to be a top-five matchup as Penn State is ranked third and Ohio State is ranked fourth in this week’s polls. Assuming Ohio State beats Nebraska and Penn State beats Wisconsin this weekend, Ohio State vs. Penn State will be the fourth top-five game of the 2024 season following Alabama’s Sept. 28 win over Georgia, Oregon’s win over Ohio State two weekends ago and Georgia’s win over Texas this past weekend.

FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff pregame show will be on site for the game as it will also be in Columbus this weekend ahead of Ohio State’s clash with the Cornhuskers, bringing Urban Meyer back to campus on a weekend when Ohio State will be honoring the 10th anniversary of its 2014 national championship. Big Noon Kickoff airs live on FOX on Saturday mornings beginning at 10 a.m.
