The stars will be out in State College on Saturday. So will the scouts.

According to Daniel Gallen of 247Sports, 24 scouts from 16 NFL teams are in attendance for the top-five showdown between Ohio State and Penn State at Beaver Stadium. Those teams, as well as their total number of scouts, are included below:

  1. 49ers
  2. Bears
  3. Bengals
  4. Broncos
  5. Chiefs
  6. Commanders (4)
  7. Dolphins
  8. Giants (3)
  9. Jets
  10. Panthers (2)
  11. Raiders
  12. Rams
  13. Ravens (2)
  14. Steelers
  15. Texans (2)
  16. Titans

The 24 scouts mark the most NFL personnel to attend an Ohio State game this season, surpassing the 14 scouts who watched the Buckeyes' one-point loss to Oregon on Oct. 12. Teams who traveled to Eugene included the 49ers, Browns, Buccanneers, Cowboys, Jaguars, Jets, Patriots, Saints, Steelers and Vikings.

Ohio State and Penn State both have NFL talent on their rosters. The Nittany Lions' top draft prospects include defensive end Abdul Carter — a potential top-10 pick — as well as quarterback Drew Allar, running backs Nicholas Singleton and Kayton Allen, tight end Tyler Warren, defensive tackle Zane Durant, defensive end Dani Dennis-Sutton and safety Jaylen Reed. Allar and Dennis-Sutton have both battled injuries this week and will be game-time decisions against the Buckeyes.
