Ohio State got it done when it counted.
In a game Ohio State had to have to keep its College Football Playoff hopes alive, the Buckeyes were the more physical team down the stretch and took down Penn State 20-13 on the road.
Will Howard had a rough start to his homecoming and threw a pick-six on Ohio State’s opening series. However, he settled in to throw 182 yards and two touchdowns on the day. The Buckeyes were effective on the ground, as Quinshon Judkins ran for 95 yards and TreVeyon Henderson added 54.
The defense made plays when it counted, including a crucial goal-line stand in the fourth quarter.
