Every memorable win has to have a memorable moment. That's obvious to the point of being part of a medical examination for a head injury, but I guess what I'm getting at is that while there are many, many classic Ohio State wins that I've enjoyed over the years, I would say that maybe only 5-10 are on permanent rotation in my brain.

For something to really stick into my head ("Holy Buckeye," "85 yards through the heart of the south," "86 yards through the heart of the north," Kenny G's sweet chin music, etc.), there has to be some kind of je nais se quoi that appeals to very specific Johnny Ginter neurons as it imprints itself into my memory forever, ie., I watch it on YouTube fifty thousand times as passive entertainment while avoiding doing something else I should be doing.

Ohio State's final drive, where they started on their own one yard line, ran it ten straight times behind a ramshackle offensive line, and killed off nearly five minutes of clock to win the game, meets that criteria. Whatever else comes next, I'm going to enjoy that for a long, long time.

BUCKEYES

SEE WHAT I MEAN?

SIGHTS AND SOUNDS

And that's it for this week! Next up is Purdue, a team that has never given the Buckeyes any issues ever. See you then!
