Following Georgia’s 28-10 loss to Ole Miss, Ohio State improved to No. 2 in the latest AP Poll and Coaches Poll.

Oregon, Ohio State, Penn State and Indiana are the Big Ten’s four representatives in both polls. That ties the ACC (Miami, SMU, Clemson and Louisville) for second among Power Four conferences behind the SEC’s nine (Texas, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Missouri, LSU and South Carolina) and ahead of the Big 12’s three (BYU, Colorado and Kansas State).
Ohio State's remaining schedule includes Northwestern (at Wrigley Field), No. 5/6 Indiana and Michigan. If Indiana appears in the top five next week – a possible if not probable scenario considering the Hoosiers are idle on Saturday – it will mark the first time ever for the Buckeyes to play three top-five opponents during the regular season.
