LaAllan Clark is headed to The Lone Star State.
CBS Sports' Matt Zenitz reported Sunday that Texas is hiring the Ohio State graduate assistant to become its next outside linebacker coach. A social media post from Clark thanking Ohio State for his time in Columbus seemingly confirmed the announcement.

Clark spent the past two seasons as a defensive line graduate assistant for the Buckeyes. Before his time at Ohio State, Clark coached at Prairie View A&M and Southern and had extensive experience training NFL defensive linemen, including Ed Oliver, Jeffrey Simmons and Danielle Hunter. He played college football for Grambling State and Northwestern State.
A native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Clark will coach Trey Moore, Ethan Burke, Colin Simmons – who won the Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year Award over Jeremiah Smith – and more for the Longhorns. While Clark will not be his position coach, Clark will also follow Ohio State defensive tackle Hero Kanu to Austin, as Kanu transferred to Texas last week after three seasons at Ohio State.
Clark is one of six departures from Ohio State's expanded coaching staff so far this offseason, following graduate assistant Mike Sollenne, offensive assistant Riley Larkin, defensive coordinator Jim Knowles, offensive line coach Justin Frye and offensive coordinator Chip Kelly.
