Simmons started 19 games across the last two seasons for the Buckeyes, 13 in 2023 and six in 2024 before he suffered a season-ending knee injury. He emerged as one of the nation's premier offensive tackles before that ailment, collecting midseason All-American honors from the Associated Press.
He started another 13 games at San Diego State before transferring to Columbus ahead of the 2023 season, giving him 32 total starts of collegiate experience. He posted a run-blocking grade of 68.7 and a pass-blocking grade of 82 for an overall grade of 74.4, per Pro Football Focus.
The 2025 NFL draft opens on April 24.
