Not only did the Buckeyes appear to be the more physically talented team in a matchup against another historically successful program, but they were also better prepared, thanks to the highest-paid coordinator tandem in the sport.
Jim Knowles has taken plenty of criticism during his time in Columbus, and now Chip Kelly has as well, thanks to the clunker of a game plan he put together for The Game. But time can heal all most wounds, and the most recent performance by Ryan Day's staff was nearly perfect, systematically disassembling a team many expected to pull the upset.
The Buckeyes came out as aggressively as we've seen them in years, sprinting to an early 21-0 lead and never looking back, thanks to a balanced offensive attack and a physical defense that Tennessee never seemed to solve.

- OSU's favorite run scheme is now Counter
- Keeping the lid on Tennessee's super-spread offense
- Forcing Nico Iamaleava to play like an inexperienced, young QB
