With Brandon Peters in concussion protocol for Michigan, John O'Korn will get the nod as the starter at quarterback for the Wolverines when they face Ohio State today, according to former Michigan center Jack Miller.

O'Korn, named the starter at quarterback after Wilton Speight suffered a back injury against Purdue in late September, has struggled mightily, completing just 53% of his passes while throwing five interceptions and just one touchdown this season.

O'Korn is officially 3–2 as a starter, although he was replaced by the freshman Peters early in the Wolverines' Oct. 28 game against Rutgers after starting 3-6 with an interception. Peters led Michigan to a 35-14 win over the Scarlet Knights in relief.

Indeed, as the Wolverines took the field for pre-game warmups, O'Korn and Speight were throwing for Michigan, with Speight wearing a sweatsuit. Peters was not on the field.
