After a daunting slate to start the season, the Buckeyes are currently getting a bit of a respite. Playing its third unranked opponent at home in as many games in Princeton, Ohio State again dominated.
Ameryst Alston and Kelsey Mitchell led the way in scoring combining for 52 points. Alston was 10-for-16 for 27 points and Mitchell scored 25 while shooting 10-15 from the field. As a team, the Buckeyes shot over 50% from the field for the sixth time in the last seven games.

Returning from a one-game suspension for what the school called "conduct detrimental to the team," Shayla Cooper was also in double figures for the Buckeyes. The junior forward scored 10 points and pulled down a team-high six boards.
A key to the game – as always with this Buckeye team – was tempo. Ohio State was simply better and faster in transition, scoring 15 points in transition to Princeton's 2. Running the court with speed seems to be a staple in Ohio State head coach Kevin McGuff's offense.
"According to Coach McGuff, you have to keep up the pace," said Mitchell with a laugh, following the team's win over North Carolina A&T, Sunday. "It's something he really puts emphasis on.
Next up for the Buckeyes is the team's non-conference finale. The team takes on Virginia, Monday night at home before opening conference play with Michigan State, New Year's Eve.
