Ohio State earned its seventh straight victory with a 97-70 trouncing of conference-foe Indiana.

Kelsey Mitchell had a slow first half, by her standards. She was just 2-10 from the field, missing both her three-point attempts, and finished with just eight points after two quarters. In the second half, however, she came alive. The nation's second leading scorer made her first five shots, including three from behind the arc, scoring 15 points to finish with a game-high 23 points.

Teams 1 2 3 4 Final
Ohio State 18 22 27 30 97
Indiana 18 17 20 15 70

As Mitchell went, so went the team. Up just five points at halftime, the Buckeyes exploded in the second half outscoring Indiana by 22 points thanks to a 54.8% second-half shooting performance.

Ohio State's performance on the boards is especially encouraging for a team that's struggled mightily in that area all year. The Buckeyes out-rebounded the Hoosiers by 14 proving last week's impressive outing against the one of the nation's best rebounding teams in Maryland was no fluke.

The rebounding success came thanks to a dominating performance from the Buckeye forwards Alexa Hart, Shayla Cooper and Mikayla Waterman. The trio combined for 47 points and 28 rebounds.

Next up for the Buckeyes is a home match-up against Rutgers, Sunday at 2 pm.
