Some things you may have missed yesterday:

PROGRAMMING NOTE: The men's lacrosse team plays Duke at 7:30 on ESPNU.

BENNETT TOPS IN B1G ACCURACY. J.T. Barrett the Tactician... come collect your prestigious award from ESPN's Big Ten blogger.

From Brian Bennett of ESPN.com:

1. Ohio State's J.T. Barrett: Barrett completed 64.7 percent of his passes in 2014, best among Big Ten starting quarterbacks. Take away the Virginia Tech game, in which he barely had time to breathe, and that number goes up to 68 percent. The Buckeyes' wide receivers often got open for him, but Barrett usually put the ball on the money.

2. Michigan State's Connor Cook: It's a little surprising that Cook's completion rate the past two seasons have been under 59 percent. And there are times when he gets a little wonky with his footwork and sails his throws toward people in the wrong jersey. But when he gets set and really needs to deliver a strike, he's pretty reliable.

It just hit me: Not only does Ohio State have three quarterbacks, but it might have the best three quarterbacks in the country.

Would you take Connor Cook or Christian Hackenberg over any of Ohio State's three? I wouldn't. In fact, I can't think of any quarterback in the country I'd take over an OSU quarterback that's not already in Columbus.

"COLUMBUS IS BUZZING RIGHT NOW." Columbus is the place to be, according to four-star wide receiver (and Ohio State/Michigan/Everybody target) Austin Mack:

From Tyler Donohue of BleacherReport.com:

"Columbus is buzzing right now, and there's a lot of energy in that town after the championship," Mack said. "There's nothing like Buckeyes fans. They are absolutely crazy. It's a great place to be."

In case you're not familiar with Mack's life's work, it's impressive:

Indiana: The only desirable product they produce is athletes.

GRIFFIN-BUCKEYE CONNECTION. Archie Griffin — the only man to ever win two Heisman trophies — is speaking at Sunday's graduation ceremony. His son, Adam, also donned the Scarlet and Gray, which adds another layer to their lifelong connection.

Archie is on his way out as Alum Association president, but he'll still be around the university in a fundraising capacity.

SOMETHING YOU DON'T READ EVERY DAY. Hang another banner, baby! This one is going right over the gravestone of windshield wiper's sorry ass.

From r/Science's AMA of Dr. Bharat Bhushan (Director of the OSU's Nanoprobe Laboratory for Bio- and Nanotechnology and Biomimetics) and his senior researcher, Dr. Philip Brown:

This may be a silly question, but how far away are we from wiper-less windshields? My rainx wiper juice seems to change the retention properties enough by itself but I wondered if it's even necessary.

We have been developing this technology for the last few years, but get your checkbook ready because Nissan has announced this functionality for the 2016 car models. So, right around the corner!

Kids: It's not too late to consider a field in nanotechnology.

THOSE WMDs. Perfect nails, poisoned workers... Overkill in medical care... How 43 students disappeared into the night... Drawings from famous writers... Apollo rover owner's manual.
