The men's team may not be dancing anymore, but the Ohio State women's hoops team sure is.

Tonight, the Buckeyes take on No. 2 seed Texas for a chance to go to their first Elite Eight since 1993.

Get dumped then, Longhorns.

Word of the Day: Eminent.

THREE-HEADED MONSTER? Ohio State's passing game is going to get most of the headlines heading into this season, because, well... *gestures towards C.J. Stroud and Jaxon Smith-Njigba.*

But I think the Buckeye ground attack might be a tad underrated entering the season.

Of course, it's headlined by TreVeyon Henderson, who could damn well be the best running back in the country. But the depth behind him is looking pretty nice, too.

“I really like – Miyan's always done pretty consistently. I think Evan Pryor is coming on and there's gonna be some good competition there too. Which I think we always need more than one,” offensive coordinator evin Wilson said following the Scarlet and Gray’s first spring practice earlier this month. “I think with the volume of plays that we play at receiver, tight end and running back, you need to be two pushing three deep, two and a half to three deep to get through the season and get through key games. And not to milk out a game because you beat someone bad, but all of a sudden it's a critical game and you need a second or third guy who can play championship football.”

...

“We know we have three really good backs, so whoever touches the ball is gonna eat,” Pryor said. “But with all three of us wanting to touch the ball, we will. We're all good. So it's just whoever's number is called is gonna make the play.”

...

“We all believe in each other, us three,” Pryor said. “We all believe in each other to go make the play.”

After all this talk and criticism about Ohio State turning into an air-raid offense, Ryan Day should open the season with a three-running back set and watch Marcus Freeman's head explode on the opposing sideline.

FAREWELL! E.J. Liddell's NBA Draft decision is one of the worst-kept secrets there is right now, mostly because it's never been a secret – the dude's been on his way out since the first game he played this year.

It still ain't "official," he participated in senior night, he posted a "thank you" message on social media, and yesterday, he appeared in a video thanking the fans and remembering his time at Ohio State.

I'm not sure there was really anyone who thought it would even be a remote possibility he might return next season, but it seems even those tiniest of chances are now pretty much dead.

At this point, we're just waiting for it to become social media official.

TITLE CHASING. Jack Sawyer has been on campus exactly one year and he's already feeling the ache of not winning a national title.

So his individual goal is to help his team win a national title. I can work with that.

“DEMORALIZE THEIR LIVING SOUL.” If y'all are running low on this Friday morning, let Ohio State women's hockey head coach Nadine Muzerall amp you up.

The Buckeye released a video last night giving us a behind-the-scenes look at Ohio State's national title championship game win, and even if women's hockey ain't exactly your thing, it's required viewing. And you might want to hide your brick walls.

“We're going to break them down, shift by shift, and demoralize their living soul every time they step onto the ice.”

My god. How can I suit up?

SONG OF THE DAY. "Big Girls Don't Cry" by Fergie.

NOT STICKING TO SPORTS. A serial New York City shoplifter opens up about his dozens of arrests... The queen of crime-solving... Venice hotels give tourists water pistols for seagulls... A teen is accused of being a multi-millionaire cyber-criminal... Japan's humble birthplace of soy sauce... Where humans and big cats live in harmony...
