I don't hate the offseason. I mean, I really dislike it, because I can literally feel my soul eroding away like a rusty bike chain protecting my cold black Ohioan heart, but I don't hate it. It allows me to pursue other interests, like... uh, you know. Sitting in my bed and staring into space.
But my mission in life is to be a charitable man of the people, and hopefully in this month's Dubcast Michael and I have helped you weather the beige storm that is the several months that go on without any real football information. We recap the NFL draft, make some dumb jokes, and I say the word "like" approximately 53 thousand times in the span of an hour.
The real main attraction, however, is one Austin Mack. Austin is a four star wideout out of Indiana looking to make an impact on recruiting in a big way, and giving a kickass interview is a good start. It's pretty easily one of the best interviews we've had with a recruit, and features an amazing Jim Harbaugh story that really has to be heard to be believed. Actually, I take that back. You'll definitely believe it, but that doesn't make it any less insane.
All that, and our very favorite segment, Ask Us Anything! You, yes you, you can ask us anything on Twitter or via email. I highly suggest doing so, as studies have shown that asking us anything reduced cavities 75% in children between the ages of 10 and 14.
0:01- Draft talk draft talk draft talk draft talk. Michael Bennett is a sleeper, y'all. Shame about landing in Jacksonville, but eh.
21:50- Ask Us Anything! We debate movies and give fashion advice to Ezekiel Elliott!
33:42- Austin Mack, reporting live from a barbershop, gives us the scoop on both recruiting (it gets real old real fast) and Jim Harbaugh (he is a deeply weird man).
46:34- RIP Bill Dance. Oh wait, he's still alive. Congrats on that, Bill Dance.
One month down, an indeterminate number to go! We'll see you guys in another three weeks, but keep sending in those questions and we'll talk to you soon. Peace out everybody!
