So the result wasn't what they had hoped for, but the half-dozen Ohio State students bravely holding on to the patch of land outside of the Schottenstein Center known as Mattaritaville deserve a little attention. These die-hards have proven their Buckeye bonafides by braving the elements and stealing Tom Crean's Diet Cokes, and that's why we brought on Kevin Harrish to give a view from inside their secretive society.
And sure, the basketball team isn't great, but the wrestling team is no slouch. We talk to 11W contributor Curt Heinrichs about the ups and downs of the wrestling team's season, and look ahead to the B1G tourney and the NCAA's (spoiler alert: Nathan Tomasello is really, really, really good).
And hey! You can Ask Us Anything by hitting us up on Twitter or by sending us an e-mail. I recommend that you do both, if only to help you sleep better at night knowing that you've served your country.
Here's your show for the week:
0:07- It easy to be positive when your team is beating unranked opponents, and it's unfortunate that we record on Tuesday nights because in hindsight my prediction that we'd beat Sparty by 35 seems... premature. Nah I'm kidding, I figured we lose.
16:11- 11W EXCLUSIVE: MATTARITAVILLE EXPOSED!! That's right, with Kevin's help, we blow the lid off this massive story of cold and hungry college kids. Plus, an interview with the guy who stole Tom Crean's delicious carbonated beverage.
24:06- I've always maintained that college wrestling is the quintessential Midwestern art form, and nothing that Curt says about the Buckeye wrestlers does anything to lessen my view.
40:22- Ask Us Anything takes a good hard look at football personnel in 2016, and contemplates our out of conference foes.
55:49- All I'm saying is, y'all need to respect mother nature just a bit more. She's scary as hell.
And that's this week's Eleven Dubcast! Come back next week as we help you book hotel rooms for the NIT!
