Feel the rhythm, feel the rhyme, it's almost Ohio State football time!

The season kicks off only 11 days from now, so today seems like the perfect time for the Eleven Dubcast to preview the latest installment of Buckeye football through some of the biggest questions ahead of the upcoming campaign. Johnny and I brainstorm and answer a half dozen points of inquiry surrounding OSU's latest quest for a national title, starting with a basic poll of position groups deserving the most and least confidence on the 2024 squad at the moment.

Additionally, the Dubcast discussion also covers:

  • The road trip to Oregon looms largest on Ohio State's schedule this season. Will the Buckeyes prevail in the Autzen Zoo, and how should fans handle the aftermath of a potential mid-season loss to the Ducks?
  • TreVeyon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins seem set for a firm split in backfield workload. How should the timeshare operate assuming one side outperforms the other as the season wears on?
  • Oregon, Penn State, and TTUN notwithstanding — which opponent provides the sneakiest challenge on the Buckeyes' schedule?
  • Now that Will Howard has firmly captured the Ohio State starting quarterback role, what should Plan B for the position be in the event he becomes unavailable?
  • What is the bare minimum result for a successful Buckeye football season in 2024?
  • Ask Us Anything — writers to dubcast@elevenwarriors.com this week inquired about many topics, such as which Buckeyes would you want to see on an Olympic flag football team?
  • Ohio State named four captains, awarded the latest installment of the Block O jersey, and unveiled an Archie Griffin statue! How does it compare to the one that already exists at the Rose Bowl?

EDITOR'S NOTE: Due to a technical upload error with the hosting software, the last six minutes of this week's recording did not make the final cut. The Dubcast apologizes for the abrupt and atypical end to the episode.

And that does it for the Dubcast this week, watch the show now on YouTube above or visit our Transistor page for links to other listening options such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and more.
