This week, we delved into some of the long-held traditions at Ohio State, like the Mirror Lake Jump, and asked students about which Buckeye greats had their jersey retired.
While Chic Harley played long before most current students' life, he is one of only a small group of Buckeyes to have their jersey retired, and students need to know their history. Odds are, they've been to The Shoe for a game and noticed the No. 47 but just never found out that it belonged to Chic Harley.
I'm sure Kevin won't be too thrilled about this.
Perhaps due to how good the football team is, the acronym TBDBITL has become less known by the student population. Being from Columbus, we'd have to expect that Owen got that one right. He did not disappoint.
Owen said that Troy Smith's jersey was retired, but wrongly said that it was retired last year. I think we can give him a pass on this one.
While those of us who have been Buckeye fans for awhile remember how good Ted Ginn, Jr. was, his jersey has not been retired by the team. Better luck next time, Luke.
Also worth noting: this is the first week that ended with more correct answers than incorrect. We'll chalk that up as a win.
