Ohio State placed four in double figures including 22 from Deshaun Thomas (21 in the first half alone) and won the glass, 48-21, on the way to an 85-45 declawing of the Savannah State Tigers tonight in the Schott.
LaQuinton Ross turned in another solid outing with 13 points, nine rips and three steals while Evan Ravenel did work in the post to the tune of 11 points and nine boards.
Shannon Scott also continued his solid play off the bench with 12 points (3/3 FG, 2/2 3FG), four steals and three assists.
The news wasn't all good as the top eight in the OSU rotation combined for 19 of the squad's 21 turnovers and Aaron Craft, for the first time since his freshman season, failed to record a point (0/4 FG) though he did dish out six dimes.
The win improves the Buckeyes to 7-1 on the season. Next up, another cupcake in the form of UNC-Asheville this Saturday at high noon.
