The University of Texas-El Paso rolled into Albuquerque and left with a 31-24 win over New Mexico.
UTEP running back Aaron Jones toted the rock 22 times for 237 yards and three touchdowns. It appears he was looking forward to the matchup.
From the ESPN recap:
"[New Mexico] called me and told me my senior year that they were going to do an in-home visit and they never showed up," Jones said. "They called and told me when they were coming, my mom cooked and they never showed up. So I have to take it to them."
I bet New Mexico's coaching staff wishes they had that one back.
