Brady Hoke was hung out to dry earlier this week by his boss, Michigan athletic director, Dave Brandon. On Monday, Hoke denied any knowledge of Shane Morris suffering a concussion. But early Tuesday Morning — 12:52 AM to be exact — Dave Brandon released a statement saying Shane Morris had been diagnosed with a "probable, mild" concussion. (Think of a mild concussion as being mildly pregnant.)
Brady Hoke, however, appears to be too much of a good soldier to throw his boss under the bus during an appearance on an Detroit radio show:
Hoke: 'People think Dave's making all the decisions within the football program, no ...'

Hoke on @StoneyandBill : Dave (Brandon) and I have a great relationship... it's all nonsense. if you were sitting in my seat, you'd laugh

That ended weird. @stoney16 says 'some believe last year's offense was better.' Hoke: 'that's an opinion.' Stoney: 'well, no, it's not.'

Remarkably, Brady Hoke remains likable. Why is he covering for a corporate buffoon like Dave Brandon? Because he, much like Jim Tressel, is a good soldier.
History will note you chose the honorable road, Brady:
