The University of Arkansas at Little Rock will add an NCAA Division I wrestling program to its athletics department after receiving a $1.4 million gift from a prominent backer.
Tom Brands will coach the Iowa wrestling team through 2023 after the Hawkeyes announced a three-year extension. The school is also conducting a feasibility study on a new wrestling training center to compliment Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
