Let me get this out of the way first. I'm a relatively old man, I'm 70 years old. I'm trying to back out of my driveway but the neighbors are having a party and invited everyone and their momma over. Their cars are even blocking my driveway to get out and there is no way to move. I don't want to be that annoying neighbor who comes over and ruins the fun by telling everyone to move so I try to squeeze my way out of there. But tell me, why on earth was this guy parking his car in a way that practically screamed 'please hit me!'? I mean, it was like a game of Frogger trying to back out of the driveway. They had the cul de sac looking like demolition derby.
After realizing there's no way I'm getting my car out, I'm pissed off so I figure why not be a courteous neighbor and help him out by adding a little "character" to his car. I guess that wasn't the kind of "lift" he was looking for because he comes out acting like an entitled brat as if he didn't have everyone blocking the road, par for the course for this younger generation. Anyway, me being the nice that guy that I am, I offer to pay anyway so it doesn't mess with either of our rates.
What do you think? Am I at fault or did he have what was coming to him?
