My son is stationed at Fort Campbell and has an October weekend free from his schedule. The wife and I would like to see him, but don't necessarily want him cramming the 7 hour 1 way drive for him to visit us at home. Kicking around the idea of meeting him in between, touring a bourbon distillery in Central Kentucky and enjoying actual face time, instead of him having windshield time. Anyone every tour a distillery and stay near. Would welcome any opinions as it's not far away on the calendar and we would like to have a carefree fun weekend experience.
