It was just announced that Penn State running back Journey Brown who was previously out for the season for a non-covid health issue will retire from football after a diagnosis of hypertophic caridomyopathy.
I didnt even expect to make it this far but its about Journey, not the destination. #HLM #SIAM pic.twitter.com/nbQrIsjXzY

This happens to be the same condition that caused OSU's own Abel Porter to recently retire from Basketball. I wonder how much the recent emphasis on cardiac health due to covid played a roll in uncovering this diagnosis. Sending prayers his way that he will be able to live a healthy life after football.
