According to Michigan.rivals.com: “From what some close to it have gathered, the administration is willing to look at this as a ‘mulligan year’ no matter what happens the rest of the way, citing opt-outs, injuries etc. as tough obstacles to overcome.”
It must be nice to have employers who give you a “mulligan year.” I guess what I don’t understand: what is it precisely that Harbaugh has accomplished to earn a “mulligan year?”
And, if this is accurate re Harbaugh’s status, he will not be feeling any pressure whatsoever coming into The Game this year (other than any self-imposed pressure to end the winless streak).
Looking on the bright side for Harbaugh: if Timex should ever revive that famous series of commercials—“It takes a licking and keeps on ticking”—Jim would undoubtedly be the number one candidate to be the celebrity spokesperson of the campaign.
