I have read in multiple articles, tweets, etc that Harbaugh’s players “quit” on him last night.

I have never played tackle football (except in a couple of neighborhood pickup games as a kid) so I feel there’s no way I could possibly assess whether at least some of Harbaugh’s players stopped giving 100% at some point during the game.

I fully understand that the physicality of football separates it from virtually every other sport and that the mentality involved in committing your body is different (and perhaps especially different when your team is getting blown out).

For those who have first-hand football experience on the field, do you feel you can make an honest assessment watching on television as to whether Harbaugh’s players, in essence, stopped making a full-fledged commitment?  Thanks.
