So for part of my daily entertainment, I like to turn to mgoblog for the latest in delusional thoughts from fantasy island. In this episode I found an actual interesting post about getting a new defensive coordinator. Now for us buckeye fans the easy answer is please keep "Dr Blitz" forever because we like averaging 58 points a game against him. So some of the posters had some interesting picks, Will Muschamp, Charlie Strong. These are fine, reasonable choices. But nearing the bottom of page 1 of comments and into page 2 comes two of the most delusional ttun fans you will probably every see. The first suggested to that the next defensive coordinator at TTUN should be Jeff Hafley. Yes This person? Believes Jeff Hafley would step down from being a head coach, to take the ttun DC position as in their own words Ttun DC is a step up from Head Coach at Boston College. The next even more delusional fan suggested they go get Bill Belichik to be the DB coach. Yes this person? Thinks a 6 time? Super Bowl winning head coach is going to come to ttun and coach defensive backs instead of continuing on as the head coach of an NFL team. (After further review, this may be a joke.) While they're at it, maybe they could get Urban Meyer to coach Wide Receivers because hey he did it at Notre Dame. Or maybe they could get Nick Saban to come coach safeties. Oh wait I know, Andy Reid is gonna come be the offensive coordinator and Patrick Mahomes can come back and be their Quarterback. At what point do we all stop taking that university and the dog doo doo they call a team seriously? At what point do we point to the things they say and say clearly that ttun education is clearly not as good as they pretend it is. Good Lord I hope Ryan Day and company nuke those idiots from orbit.
