Last year, it was published in the Detroit Free Press that TTUN dodged Ohio State in 2020 football because fewer than a handful of people in the entire athletic system tested positive for Covid. In fact, they held a 'spirited practice' the day after they would have played Ohio State.

Recently, their men's hockey team was available to play a scheduled game against #18 Michigan Tech on Dec. 29th, but they were not able to play a scheduled game against #4 ranked Western Michigan on Dec. 30th.  This schedule 'adjustment' was announced several days in advance.

Their men's basketball game against #10 ranked Michigan State is postponed today and next Tuesday's game against #4 ranked Purdue is 'probably in jeopardy as well'.

Does this have anything to do with the fact that their last two games were both losses against UCF and Rutgers?  Michigan is no longer ranked in the Top 25 MBB.

Their women's basketball team (12 - 2, #8 in the country) which follows the same Covid protocols the men's team does has only had one game canceled last December.
