“That is all.” This was my original post. Short. Took the silence speaking louder than words approach. The headline alone is enough to light a fire in someone’s stomach and get a conversation going. I understand MODS not liking it. I do feel the whole “this is a really poor effort. An insult to the folks who work on their post” was a little aggressive considering outside of this one post, I am someone who always puts effort into his posts.
A&M (an SEC team) being in the top 25 after dropping a game to App State is a tale old as time. It is just beating a dead horse to discuss how much of an impact this really makes on college football with the “SEC beats each other up” narrative. Not even that UNC deserves to be ranked, but how is 3-0 UNC unranked and they actually beat App State?
UC loses by 7 on the road to a ranked team and is currently sitting at #27.
Marshall and App State aren’t in the top 25 for beating Notre Dame (8) and A&M (6), but Texas jumps to #21 for losing to Bama? What do we even call that? Is this just the typical giving Bama more ranked wins scenario that happens every year, or is Texas getting early SEC favoritism treatment?
You cannot make this up.
MOD: OK. Opened back up
