Since Ohio State is playing Toledo this Saturday. I have a question for those of you in the Toledo area, I'm wondering what's the status of the border battle in Toledo and NW Ohio now? For those who don't know, that is what they call the rivalry between Ohio State and Michigan in NW Ohio. I moved to Columbus like 10 years ago, so all I hear is "rumors and random intelligence" from family still left up there. From what I've heard all the Michigan fans came out of hiding after last years victory. When I left 10 years ago it was clear to me that it was at least a 60-40 split in the percentage of OSU to Michigan fans. When I was in school it was real close to being even with a sizable number of Notre Dame fans. That began to change probably around 2002-2004, after Ohio State won the national championship and Michigan essentially becoming a doormat in the rivalry to Ohio State for the next two decades.
