The playoffs officially start today in South Bend. I will admit, if this was just a meaningless bowl game, I would not be watching. However, I plan on watching all 4 games. Here is how I see the games going:

ND/Indiana: I would not be surprised if the Hoosiers are winning at halftime, but I think ND will pull away and win by 10

PSU/SMU: Out of all the games, weather will be the biggest advantage. SMU is not used to playing in the cold plus I think Penn State is too talented even though SMU can score points. If this game was in a dome, I could see an upset but not this time. PSU by 14

UT/Clemson: I think Clemson can win this game. Ewers seems to have dropped off compared to last year and some news that he might not be 100%, plus Clemson is playing with house money. I think Texas will win by 3, but it will be close

Ohio State/The "other" UT: I honestly don't know. On paper, we have more talent but games aren't won on paper, plus it will be interesting to see what kind of home field advantage we really have (crowd, weather etc). As far as the actual game goes, our kicking game is shaky, our O-Line is patchwork and our head coach is under a ton of pressure. It is going to come down to what kind of gameplan the coaches implement. If they play loose and use our weapons, we win by double digits. If they play tight and conservative, it can go either way. I think at the end of the day, talent will win out. OSU 24-21
